I blått fält ett uppstigande träd av silver med utväxande sju silverdroppar.
A tree formed from silver drops
The blazon in Larvik Municipality’s design manual describes an emerging tree with seven drop-shaped silver leaves on blue; six leaves are arranged in three opposing pairs. The municipality calls the arms Sølvdråper, or Silver Drops.

The municipality’s interpretation of the design
The municipality interprets the arms as bringing together a tree, waterways, harbours, an ear of grain and the community. Its manual links the tree to local forests and forestry and also names Larvik’s beech forest. The silver drops are said to represent, among other things, clean water and former municipalities; these are the municipality’s interpretations, not parts of the blazon.
