Background in the municipal sources
According to Burlöv Municipality’s presentation, the star refers to Hvilan folk high school, while the sugar beet refers to the Arlöv sugar refinery and its importance to the area’s growth. Kronetorps windmill was also proposed for the arms, but the municipality did not succeed in including it.
