The arms and their blazon
The municipal blazon specifies a wall running from edge to edge, with three copper marks arranged above it; all are red on a gold field.

Background in the municipal sources
The municipality says the arms are based on the town seal of 1642. The townscape in the seal was simplified to a wall, and the copper mark refers to ore mining.
