The arms and their description

The Heraldica record gives two alternative wordings for the gold central figure: a stream arranged as a fess, or a bar formed by a wavy line. The first field contains a gold hand with fingers raised for an oath, accompanied by a gold bow and arrow. The second contains a gold glove with a red turned-back cuff and two crossed gold arrows. This reports the registry text; it is not an independently verified blazon.

Background in local sources

Grästorp’s 2023 graphic profile treats the arms as part of the municipal logo and shows both horizontal and vertical logo arrangements. The guideline does not explain the motifs’ history or symbolism, so no such meanings are assigned here.
