The municipality’s account of the design

Håbo Municipality calls the figure Agnus Dei. Its history page says the design was selected from several proposals; the lamb faces forward rather than lowering its head as in Järfälla’s similar motif. The five banner lobes are said to recall the five former rural municipalities or parishes.
