The municipality’s blazon

Klippan Municipality describes a silver torrent formed as a ray from the heraldic right side of the shield. Its upper edge is wavy and its lower edge straight, separating the blue upper field from the black lower field.

The background to the name and arms

According to the municipality’s history page, Klippan took its name from a mill by the paper mill. The mill stood beside a waterfall and large rock outcrops, and the municipality says this landscape inspired the arms.
