Shipping and the city’s founding

According to Kristinehamn Municipality’s history, a bojort was placed in the city arms to recall the importance of shipping to the city’s founding. In the late 1990s, a full-size model of the small vessel was built; it is nearly 30 metres long and is named Christine af Bro.
