The arms and the municipal logo

Lomma Municipality says the arms, designed by heraldist Jan Raneke, were established in 1960. They are now used only on special occasions and should not be confused with the municipality’s regular logo.

Heraldic elements

The heraldic elements are identified using HERO, a heraldry ontology published through Finland's Finto service. It provides structured terminology for describing coats of arms and their components. The list describes the structure of the arms, not the symbolic meaning of its elements.
